Important Note for USA Citizens:
As early as January 1, 2008, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda by land or sea (including ferries), may be required to present a valid passport or other documents as determined by the Department of Homeland Security. While recent legislative changes permit a later deadline, the Departments of State and Homeland Security are working to meet all requirements as soon as possible. Ample advance notice will be provided to enable the public to obtain passports or passport cards for land/sea entries.
The Bartenders Show recommends US Citizens going on the "Bartenders Cruise" apply for your US passport early to avoid the last minute rush for US passports.

Why January 14th 2008?
Bartenders are very busy during the fourth quarter of the year and the holiday parties are a time when most bartenders make most of their yearly income. We wanted to make this cruise during a down time of the year so many bartenders could attend this fun cruise. Its also easier to get someone to cover your work schedules during the month of January because it’s a slow time of the year. Plus its a great time to cruise during the Winter! Leave the cold behind and cruise in nice warm weather! Last hurricane season is over by this time of the year!
Can I bring a someone who is not a Bartender?
Yes, your can bring your family, girlfriend, boyfriend, friend, wife, husband, fiancé, kids, mom, dad, grand parents, sister, brother, best friend, cousin, co-worker and more!
How did The Bartenders Show get involved? The Bartenders Show wanted a way for many bartenders from all around the world to meet and have fun like just the other side of the bar always does. Bartenders work real hard all year and some bartenders work 6 days a week. The Bartenders Show worked with Carnival Cruise Lines to get a very good rate for this cruise. We hope you can make this great cruise!
Can I book The Bartenders Cruise directly with the Carnival?Yes, We do not collect any money! All payments are made directly to Carnival Cruise Lines not through us or a travel agency. Please make your reservation ASAP to ensure you have a spot on the cruise! The Bartenders Show has a special group number for the Bartenders Cruise rate.
Please send an e-mail to rsvp@bartenderscruise.com for The Bartenders Show group number.
Get your deposits in ASAP! You can make a deposit now to hold your room and pay the balance in full by November 14, 2007.
What about Air travel? You are responsible for your own air travel. The Bartenders Show recommends booking your flights early (2-4 months) because you can get some great airfares during that time period. Southwest Airlines offers some of the lowest airfares into Fort Lauderdale, FL airport. Miami Airport is the closest to the Miami Seaport Terminal. Carnival Cruise lines offers (for small fee) shuttle service from both airports to the Miami Seaport. We have provided some websites below to help you shop for air travel.
Southwest Airlines SideStep.com
Why are the transfers from the airport to the pier so expensive?Trust us, if you decide to take a Taxi to the pier you will end up paying lots more. The pier is 15 minutes from Miami Intl. and approx. 30 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale Airport. Let Carnival Cruise Lines know when you book your cruise you need transfers to and from your arriving airport. Guests will be met in the baggage claim area day of sailing.
Do I need my U.S. Passport for this cruise?Yes! YES! The US Department of Homeland Security will require passports right after the first of the year. (2008) Also if you happen to miss the ship (at a port stop) and are forced to fly home, Air travel DOES require U.S. citizens have a passport to re-enter the U.S.
What’s a Sail & Sign Account
Sail & Sign ™ is Carnival’s convenient cashless onboard credit program that allows all guests to charge shipboard purchases directly to a personal account throughout the cruise. The total amount of all charges will automatically be billed to the guest’s credit card (submitted at check-in or deducted from the amount of cash given at check-in), at the end of the voyage in the same way incidental charges are added to a hotel room bill. On the final morning of the cruise, a statement detailing all purchases made with the Sail & Sign card will be delivered to the guest’s stateroom. For those guests who put down a cash deposit, if there is a positive balance at the end of the cruise, the guest will receive the overpayment in the form of a check attached to their detailed statement.
Can I bring liquor (from home or from a port) onboard?Guests are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages onboard for consumption or any other use. Alcoholic beverages that are purchased in ports-of-call or from Shops On Board will be stored by the ship and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the sailing.
